The City of Danville and Danville Area Community College (DACC) were proud to serve as the hosts of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Men’s National Basketball Tournament.  All games were held March 17-21, 2015 in the Mary Miller Gymnasium at DACC.  Sixteen of the nation’s top junior college teams punched their ticket to Danville by winning their District Championships.   This years field consisted of: Phoenix College (Phoenix, AZ), Lakeland

We are saddened by the decision to move Phases of the Moon Festival from the area. The inaugural event was wonderful, yet faced many hurdles. Some challenges were typical of first-year festivals. Others, such as the weather, were unexpected and quite costly. To grow more financial stable, festival organizers found a new financial partner outside of the state.
