First Lineup (Jan 27)

Phases of the Moon is a four-day music, arts and camping event thoughtfully tailored to provide a unique festival experience. Phases of the Moon boasts four outdoor stages: two main stages that alternate following each set and two smaller stages. Along with amazing music, attendees will have access to farm-to-table food, craft beer, a farmer’s market and a mall of diverse craft vendors featuring an array of original items. POTM is an all-inclusive event that includes The Crescent Moon Kids Area set up for families featuring fun and creative activities for children.

Phases of the Moon has put a strong emphasis on art. Large interactive sculptures, live art, and works from renowned national and local artists will be on display. A variety of performance artists will be roving through the crowds performing and connecting with the new Phaser family.

Phases of the Moon will provide fun, informative and thoughtful ways to spend the weekend when you are not listening to your favorite music. The Non-Profits Participation Row will feature local and national organizations, including food drives, greening initiatives and workshops ranging from music to art to sustainability.

One of the major factors that set Phases of the Moon apart from the multitude of music festivals is the stunning setting. Kennekuk County Park boasts several miles of hiking trails, scenic ponds, streams, wide-open spaces, lush canopies of trees, a historic collection of turn-of-the-century buildings and the 170-acre Lake Mingo. The park is located within a short drive from a number of major metropolitan areas – 2.5 hours from Chicago, 1.5 hours from Indianapolis, less than 1 hour from Champaign, and 3.5 hours from St. Louis.

Hello! My name is Mike Harper, and I am an artist and resident of Danville. I would like to know if there is any need for art/graphic design/poster/t-shirt art for the upcoming Phases of the Moon festival? I would like to be involved in any art-related work needed.
Also I would like information on what artist/vendor space is going to be available and cost.
Thanks! Looking forward to hearing from you.
